The question Sally Capp’s departure as lord mayor could raise

Sally Capp will depart as Melbourne lord mayor in June, raising questions on whether the city needs a figurehead moving forward.

While praising Ms Capp’s honesty in the media during her tenure, 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate wonders whether Melbourne needs a lord mayor at all.

“Personally I like Sally Capp and she always fronted up,” Jacqui said on 3AW.
