The ‘really awesome’ double pay rise coming for half of working Australians

ACTU secretary Sally McManus says the upcoming tax cuts and other cost of living measures will come as a relief for millions of Australia.

As of July 1, stage 3 tax cuts will come into effect, while minimum wages increases with also take effect as the new financial year arrives.

“Most enterprise agreements increases on July 1,” Ms McManus told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.

“You’re talking about half of the working population are going to get basically a double pay rise which is really awesome actually.”
