The ‘really concerning’ aspect about proposed sugar taxes

Concerns have been raised about the potential plan to raise sugar tax in Australia.

Jane Martin, Executive Manager of Food for Health Alliance told Heidi Murphy on 3AW Mornings that she was specially worried about online expectations affecting behaviour.

“The online environment in particular is really concerning,” Ms Martin said on 3AW.

“(This is) absolutely not the messaging we want going to our kids at the time where we have an issue with weight and with diet.”
