The reason why some fans will re-watch a match their team has lost

It’s been reported some fans have been re-watching the Demons loss to Carlton last week.

Sports psychologist, Dr Phil Jauncey, says there’s a reason for why fans of teams who lost a match would re-watch it.

“If I’ve really identified with my team, and I’m going through a lot of grief, I really need a funeral,” he told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.
