The revelation made by police in relation to the chaotic CBD scenes on Tuesday

Melbourne’s CBD descended into chaos on Tuesday morning, with a man arrested after multiple alleged carjackings in Tarneit and North Melbourne, and allegedly carrying a firearm and pointing it at a man.

A section of Bourke Street was shut down for a period of time, and Victoria Police’s Paul Hogan has provided an update on the charges laid.
