THE RUMOUR FILE: A Melbourne school has received a complaint about a Mother’s Day raffle.

The Rumour File was told a parent rang the northern suburbs school to complain that the raffle was encouraging gambling.

As well as all the usual items, the raffle was to win a gardening hamper.
