The world’s iPhone users are being urged to update software immediately due to security concerns.

Assistance Defence Minister Andrew Hastie alerted Neil Mitchell to the issue on Wednesday.

Nigel Phair is a cyber security guru and said updating software would upgrade against two vulnerabilities Apple says are already using to attack people’s iPhones.

“It’s best to have your updates on automatically, so when these come out, it automatically happens,” he said.
