The serious slang phrase Macquarie Dictionary has announced as its word of the year

Macquarie Dictionary has announced its word of the year, with Ross Stevenson claiming they got it “100 per cent right”.

Managing director at Macquarie Dictionary, Victoria Morgan, said it’s a slang term but a serious one.

Ms Morgan also took Ross and Russ through what the other contenders were as well!
