The alarming number of aggravated burglaries in Victoria in the past 24 hours

Victoria’s top cop has revealed there have been a staggering “eight or nine” aggravated burglaries in the state in the last 24 hours.
Chief Commissioner Shane Patton admitted aggravated burglaries are a “significant problem”.
In one incident, offenders with machetes broke into a home in Bayside, while in another, men broke into an Upwey house and stole several cars.
