The shocking number of Aussies missing out on lunch breaks
Research from YouGov on behalf of Youfooz has found less than a quarter of workers are taking their full lunch break.
Dietician Melanie McGrice says people should be ensuring they eat every three to five hours.
“Our body produces a protein called ghrellin which is our appetite clock and usually … that’s when we tend to get a dip in our ghrellin because our last meal is digested and we’re ready for something else,” she told Mark Allen and Jimmy Bartel, filling in for Ross and Russ.
