The ‘significant’ number of Victorians being hospitalised with e-scooter related injuries

Hundreds of Victorians are being hospitalised each year with e-scooter related injuries.

Figures from the Royal Melbourne Hospital found 247 riders and nine pedestrians were hospitalised in 2022.

AMA Victoria Emergency Physician Dr Sarah Whitelaw says there’s a clear link between alcohol and drug use.
