The skyrocketing commodity price driving up the cost of ‘anything you buy’
The boss of an interstate trucking company says the transport industry has no choice but to pass on diesel price hikes and it’s driving up the cost of “anything you buy”.
Shaws Darwin Transport managing director, Allan Thornley, says prices have skyrocketed 23 per cent in the past two or three months.
“I can’t see any relief in the immediate future,” he told Neil Mitchell.
