The small business needing government support following floods
Small businesses such as Echuca Holiday Homes are doing it tough right now, with government support needed to get the business back up and running.
The holiday home business in Echuca will have lost $300,000 from the start of the floods through to Christmas.
Kye Anderson, CEO of Echuca Holiday Homes, has implored the state governments of Victoria and New South Wales to take action.
“I think once this whole thing disappears from the news, we’ll probably end up in the same boat as the poor people from the fires who are still living in caravans who don’t have businesses rebuilt,” Mr Anderson said.
“We need business support, we haven’t got one dollar on offer from either government.”
