The controversial conversation between Peter and Karl Stefanovic will be revealed in detail when a gossip magazine hits shelves next week, according to entertainment reporter Peter Ford.

As Pete told 3AW Breakfast earlier this week, it was believed an Uber driver was attempting to sell a recording of a phone call between the brothers, where the pair openly discuss their colleagues and bosses at Channel Nine.

This morning Pete told 6PR Breakfast magazine New Idea is going to reveal the full details of the conversation but there is no recording.

“Let’s be clear about this, what they’re saying in the story is there are no tapes, the driver of the car says he’s remembered all the details of the conversation,”

“This man must have an extraordinary memory.”

Pete said the explosive conversation may be the last straw for Karl and co-host Georgie Gardner, who already have a strained relationship.

“It is going to be highly embarrassing for both the Stefanovic brothers as of next week when this magazine is on the shelves, because they give serves to not only on air talent including Richard Wilkins and Georgie Gardner but to a number of executives at the Channel Nine Network.

“I don’t know how Georgie is going to be able to continue to sit opposite him as of next week.”
