The TAC won’t renew sponsorship with Geelong after Joel Selwood caught speeding

The Transport Accident Commission will not renew their sponsorship agreement with Geelong after skipper Joel Selwood was caught speeding.

Selwood lost his licence for a month and was fined after he was clocked at 127km/h in a 100km/h zone in February.

3AW Football commentator Caroline Wilson said she’d be staggered if Selwood was suspended for games by the club. 

‘For the TAC and Geelong it was the straw that broke the camel’s back, seven incidents over a ten year period is quite a lot at one footy club’

‘I think he’ll be fined $5000, I think that’s the maximum’ she said.
