The target a new report reveals the Allan government failed to meet
A new report has revealed the Victorian Government is failing to meet their own targets when it comes to repairing potholes across the state.
Head of policy at the RACV James Williams has told Tom Elliott around seven to eight per cent of roads need to be replaced each year.
“We can really no longer continue blaming the floods that we had some years ago now … the reality of asphalt is that it will degrade over time because of rain, water gets into the asphalt and creates tears and fractures that ultimately becomes potholes,” he said.
