The teen raising money for drought-stricken families

Molly Hocking from Yambuck is raising money to help kids affected by drought.

At just 16, it’s a pretty generous feat!

She told Neil Mitchell being able to relate to the affected children made it easy to be passionate about the fundraiser.

“Being the same age as them on growing up on a farm myself, I would hope someone would do something like this if I was in a similar situation,” he said.

She’s also auctioning off a heifer and steer, which caller Lionel generously offered $5000 for.
