The top physical factor Aussies look for in a romantic partner

Good dental hygiene and healthy teeth are the top physical factor Australians look for in a romantic partner, according to an independent survey commissioned by dental comparison platform AirSmile.

More than 1000 participants were presented with seven physical factors including height, skin, teeth, weight and hair.

Dentist Dr Heath Fraser says he was “actually really surprised” to hear more than 75 per cent of people chose a smile and good oral hygiene as the most important physical factor.

“Less that 50 per cent of people get to the dentist every year and one-in-three people have active tooth decay so this is a study we got out there to try and dangle the carrot a little bit to try and get people to go to the dentist!,” he said.
