The topic of inheritance was brought up on 3AW this morning, with Neil Mitchell admitting he hasn’t thought much about it himself.

An article from The Age this morning, says Generation X people, those born between 1965 and 1980, should start thinking about inheritance, as they’re the new baby boomers.

General Manager of technical policy at the Institute of Public Accountants, Tony Greco, does believe it is a tricky topic to bring up with the family.

“It’s a very touchy subject,” Mr Greco told Neil Mitchell.

“It is important to make your intentions quite clear as I’ve seen a lot of family disputes because when the will does surface, we’ve seen a lot of challenges.”
