The two ‘grim’ stories on the 3AW police report this morning

Victoria Police Media Advisor, Caitlin Knight, has shed light on two “grim” stories on the 3AW police report this morning.

The two stories involve the sexual assault of an elderly woman in South Yarra last month, as well as school students in the Ballarat area being harassed by a serial creep while walking home from school.

“That’s a grim offering this morning,” Ross Stevenson said.

The South Yarra suspect is perceived to be of Asian appearance, in his mid-20’s about 180cm tall with short shaved black hair and unkempt facial hair.

And the ute connected to the lewd acts in the Ballarat area is believed to be a Mazda BT-50 with a freestyle cab, steel tray, silver bull-bar and dark-coloured wheels.

The two stories are not related.
