The two young heroes who helped out an elderly woman on Halloween!

Two grade six boys from Ferntree Gully, Jake and Roy, were in the right place at the right time on Tuesday evening, helping rescue an elderly woman while out trick-or-treating for Halloween.

They heard 82-year-old Esma’s cries for help after she’d fallen inside her home.

Jake told Neil Mitchell the spooky sounds and people shouting out reminded him of scary movies, but he put those fears aside.
