The HMAS Canberra is docking in Melbourne this weekend for a four-day visit as they continue a recruiting push.

The ship is capable of carrying up to 18 helicopters and Commanding Officer Captain Brendan O’Hara said he was welcoming the public’s interest in the unique ship’s visit to these shores.

“We’re coming to Melbourne because we’re really supporting ADF (Australian Defence Force) recruiting,” he told 3AW Breakfast.
