The Victorian vaccination rule Tom Elliott says is an ‘absolute mess’
Tom Elliott says some of Victoria’s COVID-19 restrictions are an “absolute mess”, with rules surrounding non-essential retail leaving the 3AW Drive host baffled.
“You wouldn’t believe this if I didn’t have it written down in front of me,” he said on Wednesday.
The government says patrons and staff at non-essential retail stores will not be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 when they reopen on Friday.
But once the state is 90 per cent vaccinated, it will be a requirement.
“How can that make sense?” he said.
“The government has it around the wrong way.”
