The Jobs and Skills Summit has started today, with a key topic being women in the workplace.

Dr Lauren Rosewarne, Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, spoke to Tom Elliott on what can be done to make the workplace a better place for women.

Dr Rosewarne outlined that money, flexibility in working hours and childcare becoming tax deductible are the main areas that need to be focused on.

“Money is largely what make people feel positive about the workplace, particularly for women,” she said.
