The worrying trend of youth gang violence in the state

Acting Superintendent at Victoria Police, Martin Bourke, has spoken on the worrying amount of youth gangs in Victoria.

Victoria Police is currently monitoring 47 youth gangs across the state.

It comes after criminal incidents jumped 12.9 per cent in the Bayside council area in 2022, highlighted by an aggravated burglary in Brighton yesterday.
