The zoo staff strike set to occur over the school holidays

Zoos Victoria staff are set to strike during the school holidays over the new Andrews government wages deal.

Zoo keeper talks and animal encounters will be banned during the strike, but the animals will still be looked after during the strike period.

Executive Director of the United Workers Union Godfrey Moase believes this is a “line in the sand” moment for staff.
