There’s a shortage of genuine Santas in Australia!

A warning for anyone thinking dressing up as Santa at a shopping centre would be an easy job.

There’s a shortage of men in red this year, because not enough people measure up.

Leonie Collins AKA Mrs Claus from Santa’s Magical Kingdom spoke with Justin and Kate, she says it’s hard to find people who fit the bill.

‘Anyone can dress up in a suit, but is he engaged with the children?’

She says it’s an acting role and they need to be able to act, ‘They need to have that twinkle in their eye, because really… That’s all the kids see.’
