‘There won’t be another series’ | Peter Ford’s reality TV prediction

Showbiz guru Peter Ford has swung the axe on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here.

He told Ross and John he didn’t expect another Australian series.

Ford was talking about the boom of Married At First Sight in the reality TV ranks when he moved his attention to the jungle.

“The one that has really fallen into a heap is I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here,” he said.

“As we mentioned the other day, the Oldfield couple – “Australia’s most hated” – they have not done a thing for the ratings.

“In fact, the other night they were down below 500,000 people.

“That is a very, very expensive show to get to air … I’m going to call it now, there won’t be another series.”
