How will Scott Morrison’s time as Prime Minister be remembered?

Former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced he will quit politics by the end of February.

Channel 9 National Affairs Editor Andrew Probyn told Jacqui Felgate despite the criticism levelled at Mr Morrison, Australia “did well” during the pandemic while he was in charge.

“He set up national cabinet and as a whole Australia did well during COVID (and avoid large-scale casualties),” he told 3AW Drive.

“There’s lot of ups and downs with Scott Morrison, but it was the end of a pretty tumultuous time for the Coalition.”
