Theresa May quits as UK Prime Minister
Theresa May has quit as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
The conservative leader has been under mounting pressure, given her failure to get a Brexit deal done.
She’ll finish on June 7.
Mrs May had said she’d step aside once a Brexit deal had been passed by parliament, but MPs have rejected those attempts.
The government has now postponed that vote.
