‘They are getting out of control’: Why the US government have chosen to clamp down on airlines

This week the US Government has chosen to clamp down on the disregard airlines have for their passengers.

Airlines now must offer refunds to passengers whose flights are cancelled or delayed by more than three hours.

Shane McInnes thinks it is time for the Australian Government to follow suit and implement similar rules here, putting the passengers first and not the airlines.

Passengers should be “getting what they paid for” he said on 3AW Afternoons.

Author and Speaker and retired A380 Captain, James Nixon told Shane McInnes on 3AW Afternoons that the airlines are “getting out of control”.
