‘They can steal IP’s and secrets’: How North Korea is threatening Western companies

Australian intelligence agencies and businesses have been given a huge wakeup call, as concerns for North Korean spies approaching our shores grow.

Appearing on 3AW Breakfast, investigative journalist at The Age Nick McKenzie has revealed that thousands of agents from the communist state are infiltrating Western companies.

“But Aussie companies as we speak here right now are infiltrated. There are North Koreans on their books, and that money is still flowing back to the regime”, McKenzie said.

With it being said that the use of these agents is tied to furthering North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.
