Councillor David Gill has a theory the state government “hates” the Mornington Peninsula as the local council pushes for more freedom to set speed limits.

Councillor Gill wants speed limits reduced on dangerous rural roads, as he claims the roads weren’t built in the first place to take on the type of traffic it does.

“They couldn’t care less about the Mornington Peninsula and it’s about time they did,” Councillor Gill told Ross and Russ.
