Thief taps sleeping woman on head before fleeing with designer handbags
A thief has gently tapped the sleeping occupant of home in Melbourne’s north-east on the head before fleeing with her designer handbags, jewellery and laptop.
A woman, 49, was asleep on the couch of her Eaglemont home with her Alexander Wang and Hermes handbags, along with jewellery and laptop nearby.
She awoke to someone tapping on her head shortly after 3am on Saturday, November 7.
A man was standing in the doorway.
He fled with the handbags jewellery and laptop.
Police have released a face image of a suspect, a caucasian man aged in his 30s or 40s.
He was wearing a black cap.
