Thieves snatch large in-ground swimming pool from Wandana Heights
Thieves have snatched a large fibreglass inground pool from a construction site in the Geelong suburb of Wandana Heights.
Unknown offenders are believed to have entered the Moncrieff Crescent site sometime between 10.30pm and 11.30pm on October 20.
They loaded a 7-metre pool, which was waiting to be installed, onto an oversized truck and drove away.
The truck had grey or silver tape covering what may have been a company name on either side of the cab, and yellow ‘oversize’ signs on the front and back.
The pool is a slate colour and the brand is ‘modern pool’.
It’s valued at $14,000.
