Third teen arrested over Taylors Lakes fatal hit-run

A third teen has been arrested over a fatal hit-run in Taylors Lakes at the weekend. 

A 25-year-old Gisborne man was killed when an allegedly stolen black Audi sedan collided with his car at the intersection of Melton Highway and Kings Road about 1am on Saturday. 

Three balaclava-clad young men fled the scene.

A pair of 17-year-old boys, from Broadmeadows and Fawkner, have already been charged over the crash and were remanded to appear at a children’s court.

On Monday, a Broadmeadows teen handed himself into police this afternoon and is currently being interviewed by detectives.
