A 13-year-old Victorian student has been hospitalised after a suspected vaping incident.

Neil Mitchell has been told the student collapsed in the toilets at Bannockburn P-12 College on Thursday morning.

CEO of Vic-Health, Dr Sandro Demaio, then spoke with Neil Mitchell about why children are particularly vulnerable when it comes to vaping, and it’s for a couple of different reasons.

He even admitted some children are drinking the vaping fluid, which is “extremely concerning”.

Ambulance Victoria confirms paramedics were called to an incident at about 8.45am and a person was taken to Geelong Hospital in a stable condition.
