‘This is dangerous’: The change Tom Elliott wants to see in schools
Tom Elliott is calling for swimming to be made a “non-negotiable part” of school curriculums.
It comes after a report by swimming education provider Bluefit found 56 per cent of children aren’t enrolled in swimming lessons.
“I don’t believe you should be allowed to go from … grade six to say up to grade seven without proving you can swim at least 200 metres without too much effort,” the 3AW Mornings host said.
