‘This is the best age to do it’: Teenager explains why voting age should be lowered to 16

Victorian organiser for the Make it 16 campaign, Ravin Desai, has detailed why the voting age should be lowered from 18 to 16.

Mr Desai is 17-years-old and says 16-year-olds are on the “same intellectual level” as 18-year-olds.

“It’s actually the best age to get involved in voting,” Mr Desai told Tom Elliott.
