It’s running from 27th December to 10th January and gives you a free flowing supply of chef Chris Terlikar’s signature slow-cooked brisket, ribs, sausages, sides and more for $65pp (excl. drinks). One of the Yarra Valley’s best keep secrets, Coombe Yarra Valley is teaming up with online wine seller ‘Vinomofo’ for a stupendous sounding summer wine soiree at the former home of Dame Nellie Melba. Keep an eye out for “Goldie Asian Canteen + Brews”, the CBD’s latest casual restaurant serving Asian flavours with a twist. Chef Michael Smith is in charge, formerly of Melbourne institutions Mamasita and Tonka, and he’s bringing us fun dishes like Peking Duck & Noodle Toasties, Brekkie Bao, and Togaroshi Mayo – an Asian twist on the chicken schnitzel roll. There’s the usual suspects on the drinks menu, or you can try their take on a boozy bubble tea, like the Coffee Cup – a blend of cold brew coffee, Kahlua vodka and tonic tapioca pearls.
