This Winston Churchill snippet left Ross and John speechless!

As most 3AW Breakfast listeners would know, Ross and John are fascinated by the life and times of Winston Churchill.

They’ve often joked his voice sounded a little like Daffy Duck.

Well, turns out they aren’t alone.

Apparently Franklin D. Roosevelt thought the same!

Ross found the following extract in a story published in UK paper The Mirror this week.

“Churchill had to make sure he didn’t shout on the phone to Roosevelt or he would sound ‘like Daffy Duck’ through interference and leave the president giggling,” it read.

Ross: “My head has fallen off!”

John: “You. Are. Joking!?”
