A Victorian driver jailed for killing six teenage pedestrians in a hit-run at Mildura in 2006 is back behind bars.

Thomas Graham Towle, who was jailed for 10 years in 2008 after ploughing into a group of teenagers as they left a birthday party at Cardross, was arrested in Bendigo this morning.

Towle was released from prison in 2013 under strict conditions, which included no drinking, driving or making contact with those involved in the incident.

At this stage, it remains unclear which of these restrictions he allegedly broke.

The Adult Parole Board has confirmed Towle’s parole was cancelled yesterday.
