Thousands of students have walked out of the classroom and hit the CBD streets to protest the government’s “inaction” on climate change.

Aimee Griffiths, a 17-year-old organiser for the School Strike 4 Climate, told Tom Elliott she was more than happy with how the protest unfolded.

“It went amazingly!” she said.
