Three armed men rob and trash Canterbury jewellery store

Three men armed with machetes and sledgehammers have held up a Canterbury jewellery store.

The offenders stormed into the shop at about 1.30pm on Thursday.

A number of items were stolen.

The property was also damaged.

Nobody was injured during the incident.
