Three children taken to hospital after serious fire in Melbourne’s north-west

A crime scene has been set up at a home in Melbourne’s north-west, after three children were critically injured in an overnight fire.

The blaze broke out at a home on Fergus Court in Sydenham at around 9:30pm last night.

The response was escalated and 30 firefighters were called to tackle the fire, searching the home and finding the children inside.

Police say three young children were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
