Three men charged with murder as police divers locate body in Cobram

Three men have been charged with murder as police divers locate a body believed to be that of missing Shepparton man, Umit Bolat.

Search and Rescue divers located a body in Cobram East, near Dick’s Island about 3pm today.

The body is yet to be formally identified.

It comes as police search for Mr Bolat, a 45-year-old man who was last seen alive about 5.30pm on Sunday August 12, in Shepparton.

A 29-year-old man and 26-year-old man, both from Lemnos, and a 44-year-old Ardmona man have been arrested and charged with murder.

They will appear at the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court today.
