Three teens charged following death of man at Shepparton
Three teens have been charged following the death of a man at Shepparton.
They’re facing a string of charges over a number of offences.
An 18-year-old male, a 17-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were intercepted by police in a vehicle at Harrietville in the state’s north east on Monday.
- The 17-year-old male has been charged with manslaughter, theft of a motor vehicle, carjacking, robbery, conduct endangering serious injury, unlicensed driving, drug impaired driving and possessing a drug of dependence.
- The 18-year-old male has been charged with manslaughter, theft of a motor vehicle, carjacking and robbery.
- The 17-year-old female has been charged with manslaughter, theft of a motor vehicle, carjacking and robbery.
All three were remanded in custody.
The charges follow the death of a 43-year-old Shepparton man on July 27, who was allegedly struck by a car on Poplar Avenue shortly before 11pm.
