‘Todd from East Brighton’ calls in to school 3AW presenter on doubles tennis
When Tony Moclair expressed his disinterest in men’s doubles tennis, he didn’t expect one half of Australia’s most famous doubles pairs to call in and give him a piece of his mind.
Just after 12.30am this morning Tony took a call from ‘Todd from East Brighton’ who said he was “heading home from work” listening to Tony when he felt compelled to call 3AW.
“I heard you talking about men’s doubles tennis and I was a little disappointed to hear what you had to say,” Todd said.
“It’s just not a sport that grabs me,” Tony replied.
“Do you have any background with the sport yourself?”
“A little,” Todd replied.

‘Todd from East Brighton’ then revealed by coming home from work, he meant, coming home from calling a match at the Australian Open with Jim Courier.
“I couldn’t help myself, I thought maybe I’ve got to educate Tony Moclair,” Todd Woodbridge said.
“The Woodies, Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde they were pretty good!”
Tony ended the chat by admitting, “You never know who’s listening”.
