Toddler rescued by PSO after fall at Heatherdale train station
A PSO is being hailed hero after scrambling through a small hole from the tracks at a Melbourne train station to rescue a toddler.
As revealed on the 3AW Rumour File, the toddler became trapped after falling down a gap in the platform on Friday night.
Daniel from the MFB told Ross and John they stopped trains as they worked to gain access when the Protective Services Officer dived in head first to help.
“We were starting to cut through a wire mesh to gain access to the child and a PSO found a tiny little hole down the end of a platform and scrambled through there,” said Daniel.
“He picked up the child and came out!
“Well done to him!”
