The Melbourne v Sydney rivalry continues…

Melburnians like to say their city is the sporting and fashion capital, while Sydney has all the attractive landmarks.

Bernard Salt, columnist for The Australian says Melbourne is a more inclusive city in the way it ’embraces suburbia.’

‘Sydney is not an inclusive city. It’s a city that is 50km long,’ Bernard says.

Tom disagrees, suggesting Sydney is still Australia’s ‘premier city.’

‘It encapsulates the surf and sand lifestyle that foreigners think we all enjoy,’ Tom said.
